Hi folks - I'm scratching my head on this one.... I start a playlist going (in
the car) and later when I stop the car, I select the main menu and choose
"power off" prior to turning the car engine off. The unit remains plugged into
its chassis in the car. Now, at least half of the time, when I
restart the car, after the opening "empeg" screens appear and finish, I press
the top button on my unit to resume, and it either starts a different song or
resumes the last song in the playlist but displays title and artist info from
another song entirely. The only remedy seems to be to power-off the unit again,
unplug it from its chassis, plug it in again and wait for the startup screens
to complete. THEN, when I press that top button, it resumes my original playlist
exactly from the point when it originally stopped. Does this ring a bell with
anybody else? I'm using beta 8c and have a 20-gig unit.
